ADEN Partners with KFMA to Host International Conference, Showcase the Future of Smart IFM

14th November 2018, Seoul – ADEN joined with the Korean Facilities Management Association (KFMA) to host the 2018 KFMA International Symposium and Conference. The event brought together facilities management practitioners from around Korea and the world to discuss the future of the industry as well as strategies to respond to trends emerging from technological and social change.

The two-day International Symposium and Conference, lasting from 8-9 November, focused on the theme “Begin! New FM”. The event brought together top industry leaders from around the world, with speeches and discussions addressing a wide range of hot topics of growing relevance to the facilities management industry, from the sharing economy’s effect on workplace services to the growing role of new technologies.

Rachael Um, head of ADEN’s Korea desk, addressed the conference, sharing ADEN’s perspective and vision for the facility-management industry in the context of growing APAC regionalisation. She also introduced ADEN’s brand-new subsidiary ADENERGY and showcased how ADEN has been leading the way in implementing emerging technologies through Smart IFM strategies, intelligent robotics solutions, and new, flexible energy-generation and storage techniques.

“We are honoured to work together with KFMA to host this conference, the latest of our many recent actions to build a stronger, healthier ecosystem for the IFM industry,” said Francois Amman, ADEN Co-Founder and Co-President. “At ADEN, we strongly believe in the power of cooperation to build a stronger IFM industry, as well as in the ability of globalisation to help build a world where the benefits of technological and economic development can be shared by all.”

As a leading economy in the Asia-Pacific region and a rising centre of innovation, South Korea is a key market for ADEN. As more and more Korean companies move towards implementing IFM, ADEN is working to forge new partnerships to provide its Smart IFM solutions to more clients. ADEN is also cooperating with numerous leading Korean tech companies to build an open ecosystem to promote new research and development in AI and robotics.
